6/06/2008 - How to calculate the cost of your import

1) Find your dream car.
2) Go to freight on our website and follow the steps to calculate the approximate cost to import your vehicle.
3) All RAWS imports need to be modified to meet Australian Standards, this is called compliancing, average cost is $2500 plus tyres. This is just an average price for you to be able to calculate an approximate price for your import. Pre 89 cars and personal imports only need an engineering report.
4) HPJI fee $1000 including GST

(CAR PRICE)+(FREIGHT COST)+(COMPLIANCE PRICE)+(HPJI FEE) = CAR COST LANDED IN AUSTRALIA

OTHER COSTS: road worthy certificate (RWC), Repairs, registration and duty

TIPS: once you have calculated your final cost always allow extra so you dont get caught out, we recommend $1000.

SUMMARY:

1+2+3+4= CAR PRICE LANDED IN AUS

Finally if you are happy with the price please contact us to check if this car can be imported to Australia because not all cars can be imported into the country, next we import your vehicle on average it takes 6 weeks to import and compliance.
